Recently team members across all departments were invited to take part in an Autism Awareness Training session to help understand more about autism and how we can assist our guests.
The session gave an insight of what it is like to experience some of the symptoms felt by those with autism and simple ways that we can help our guests both from a service and facility perspective. It was practical and interactive session and the feedback from those that attended was excellent.
This training was offered to all Team Brean members at all levels and we are committed to deliver a wide range of training to develop and upskill our team. Last year we undertook a dementia awareness session and this helps us put accessibility at the forefront of what we do at #teambrean.
