This new purpose built building will house maintenance spares for our 200 acre holiday resort and visitor attraction. There is also a specific vehicle maintenance building for our fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.
Duties of a maintenance stores person involve;
Methodical organisation and storage of all maintenance parts/tools in a tidy and safe manner.
Maintaining sufficient amount of spares of specified lines to ensure good stock availability.
Booking in and out of stock accurately.
Ordering and sourcing of parts in line with company purchasing, price and quality standards.
Accepting and offloading deliveries.
Ability to organise and prioritise tasks based on immediate business needs.
Computer literacy required to operate stock control system, driving licence and fork lift truck certificate beneficial.
About our Company
We are a growing Company with 16 different departments across the business. We are creating a centralised stores and vehicle workshop to manage stock and supplies. This ranges from electrical goods & spares, plumbing & carpentry spares, catering equipment etc. We have been trading and established for over 70 years.
Applicants
Must have previous experience in stock handling and a good working knowledge and understanding of plumbing, boiler & electrical spares/ terminology. Therefore previous experience at a plumbing merchants or similar is required.
Hours of work
Full time, year round position.
8am – 5pm (30 minute lunch break)
8am – 1pm Saturday morning.
