Congratulations Mr & Mrs Morris

On Saturday 20th July we enjoyed a bright, sunny blustery day for the Wedding of Mr & Mrs Morris.

Michael and his best man Martin arrived to welcome guests into the lounge for drinks before being seated in our Kingfisher suite along with the Bride & Grooms family and friends. The ceremony room was dressed with white chair covers, hessian sash and aisle runner provided by Essential Events Hire and the guests were welcomed into the ceremony by the Bristol String Quartet.

Cindy the bride arrived in style in ‘Mr Happy’ a VW camper van along with her Maid of Honour Marie, Bridesmaids Caitlin & Leah and one of the groomsmen James who had enjoyed champagne on the way to Brean Country Club.

During the Wedding ceremony Martin the Best man had the very important job of calling ‘Breezy’ the barn owl to fly the couples wedding rings down the aisle to complete their vows and to the surprise of their guests.

Guests then enjoyed a welcome drink and canopies and were entertained by close up magician Matt Barker whilst enjoying the views of the golf course and surrounding countryside including Brent Knoll and the Mendips from the private outside terrace. Rob & Helen from Rob Fowler photography then took photos within the lovely grounds of the Country Club.

The wedding breakfast took place within our Kestrel Suite where guests enjoyed a menu of leek and potato soup, feather blade of beef and eton mess. During dessert all of the guests were entertained by singing waiters (The Swinging Rascals) with a series of popular sing a long songs.

In the evening guests enjoyed pulled pork baps and our in house DJ with the happy couple performing a fabulous jive dance along with Michaels niece Caitlin. By the end of the evening guests invited the Country club team to join them for the ‘Konga’ which finished off the evening perfectly.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Morris from all of the team at Brean Country Club.
