Annual Team Brean Awards - The Wrap

This week we held our 3rd Annual Team Brean Awards at the Tavern at Brean Leisure Park.

The awards gives us the opportunity to celebrate our team members success throughout 2019 and to say thank you and well done from the management team and Directors.

Over 150 team members attended the event and a total of £2000 were given in prizes.

The event started by celebrating length of service amongst our team. We have 36 team members within between 3-4 years length of service. Prizes were then issued to several team members celebrating 5 and 10 years of service. We also congratulated several team members with between 15 and over 20 years years of service. 

Our long service team members are a mixture of people that have progressed through the ranks since joining #teambrean as a student or have remained in a similar role throughout. This helps us provide a consistent level of service to our guests and for these team members to act as a role model for new team members.

Below are some pictures of our long service achievers. 

The awards Four of our seven main award categories were open to nominations by colleagues, managers and customers to recognise efforts and contribution over the year. The categories were Service Excellence, Best Newcomer, Rising Star, Un-Sung Hero, Team Member of the Year, Team of the Year, Bert House Award and an award in memory of our founder Bert House.  Summarising the evening Sarah House Director commented 'It is so important we recognise the achievements of both individuals, teams and the overall business and have the opportunity to say thank you and well done. Our awards now in their 3rd year have grown in popularity and give every person in any role the opportunity to be recognised for their contribution and efforts.
